Internet: As recently as twenty years ago, a set of encyclopedias was a must own item. If you ever had a question about something, you can look in your encyclopedia and find the answer you need, and you may even be distracted by other interesting things whosoever. These days, however, most people see as encyclopedias something like antiques - and this is largely because all the information you need can be found online! When you learn to use the Internet safely and successfully, never touch again this encyclopedia - and, indeed, never have to even touch again this newspaper that all the information you need is easily accessible with just a clicks of the keyboard and mouse.
Email: For most people, the post is almost a thing of the past. Unless you need to send a package, there's really no reason to use anything other than email, email gives you the opportunity to connect with another almost immediately. However, email is not secure - and for this reason it is important to learn to use email safely before you start using email to everyone.
SMS: And of course, these days, one of the main forms of communication for the majority of young people as text messaging - something that may seem very strange to you! Basically, text messaging allows you to send a text message on the phone to someone else, which can not be immediate, and can react immediately. This is a great way to communicate if you have to ask a simple question or provide a simple upgrade on something, and that enables you to control someone immediately, even if they are in a position where you can not talk now .......
